The Cellophane Flowers Manchester debut sees us share the boards with Tom Hingley of Inspiral Carpets fame and his new band, Not in Education, and SDalford’s own The Lottery Winners. We’re playing at Gullivers, can’t wait for this one. Stage time TBC.

Mags and glad rags

They could have followed the blonde bushell that is Boris round town instead, in the hope of some better alliteration, or at least a last minute mayoral slip-up, but the fine folk at The Upcoming magazine decided instead to check out our gig last week at the 229.

Check out the live review and the post-gig interview when we were all sweaty-like from Abigail, all captured with amazing clarity by Victoria who has very kindly let us use her photos. Nick even remembered to open his eyes. Thanks ladies, we really enjoyed it.

The mystery of the hairy knuckles

It was great to find this review on the Von Pip Musical Express of Rock’n'roll, a track off the new album, which ended up on Hypem. No idea how they got hold of it, some industry type must have leaked it, but hey we don’t care when we are held up as the antithesis of Oasis. We’ve got our beady eyes on you, Liam…
